Does he/she hate going to enrichment center?Ask your student this question, does anybody teach anything when he/she goes to enrichment center every week. Or, he/she just submits previous week's worksheet and picks up next week's worksheet?
Learning Mathematics can be fun provided the teacher is able to explain it. Is your child ready to move on from repetitive, boring math problems? Is he/she ready to learn problem solving math from an experienced teacher in a classroom setting?
Each class is taught by Mr. B, an accomplished problem solving math teacher, who has been teaching for 12 years. He ran 3 after school MathCounts Math Club in Canton, MI (Achieve Charter Academy, Canton Charter Academy & North South Foundation) for many years. His students have successfully competed in Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle School (MOEMS), MathCounts regional, state and national levels, Math Kangaroo regional, state and national levels, MathCon national level etc.
Mr. B teaches students from 3rd grade to 12th grade stating with basic counting to SAT/ACT, Algebra, Pre-Calc, Geometry, and Calculus. Some of his past students topped in AMC8/10/12 in the state and country, USA(J)MO and competed in International Math Olympiad as a team member of USA and won gold medal.
He is very passionate about math and always eager to spark interest in math in the younger students’ minds.
Dr. Aniruddha Deb(AP Calculus, SAT)
Dr. Aniruddha Deb, an Energy Institute Faculty/Faculty at The University of Michigan, and a Scientist from Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) has been teaching and coaching students in mathematics and science for the past 25 years. He has been a math instructor for Level 2, AMC -8, AMC 10, AMC 12 and HMMT competitions for AAMOC (Ann Arbor Math Olympiad Cooperative) for the past 11 years. He has been coaching and tutoring numerous students in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas in Calculus BC and AB for the past 10 years with guaranteed success in the AP examinations. In addition to tutoring in Calculus BC and AB, he has been coaching students in AP Chemistry and AP Physics for the past 10 years with guaranteed success.
